Trans-Cinnamic Acid is a White to almost white crystalline powder. Boiling Point: 265 ºC at 760 mmHg, Flash Point: 189.5 ºC. Density: 1.184 g/cm3. Water Solubility: 0.4 g/L (20 °C); soluble in diethyl ether, insoluble in hexane.
