Le sulfate de baryum naturel (CAS : 7727-43-7) est un minerai de baryte qui a été soigneusement sélectionné pour donner une teneur atypique en BaSO4 de 86% à 92%. Le sulfate de baryum naturel est broyé pour obtenir des particules d'une taille moyenne comprise entre 8 et 12 microns. Le produit a une teinte crème à blanc cassé.
