Medical Grade Bariumsulfat ist ein weißes formloses Pulver, relative Dichte 4,50 g/cm³(15℃), Schmelzpunkt 1580℃. Kein Geschmack und nicht giftig. Säure- und alkalibeständig, Mohs-Härte (3-3,5), kann Röntgenstrahlen und andere gefährliche Strahlung absorbieren.
